I honestly wonder why that is.

I hardly ever need to go into the banks but when I do it takes up the whole bloody Saturday. Last time I went in to STDbank (There is a Nedbank next to it) I was at STD bank for 4 hours, 3 of them waiting to see a consultant. And nedbank from what I could see had about 15 people in there

I used to have the same problem - now I use the branch at the Waterfront, since I work nearby, and that place is always empty. I'm getting used to it now, if there's one person being dealt with and I can't walk straight up to the counter I get annoyed :D

I think nedbanks queues are soo much shorter because their staff are much more helpful and actually understand what you say the first time...

I closed my account with Nedbank due to ba.d service and high costs.

I'm currently with ABSA, but think FNB Platinum has the best service in the country, over ABSA Private AND over FNB Private - FNB Private are absolutely shocking - they are the reason I'm moving away from FNB

I'm actually thinking of moving to capitec bank... they sound quite good and their interest rates are quite a bit better than absa's mere 2%
