Where in the country are you? I might sell my wife's Up in the next month or two if you want a smaller fuel efficient car. But that's still a very big maybe. And it has a manual gearbox.

I get about 540 km from 32 liters, 60% traffic. I'll let you know, but we are in Stellenbosch so you might want a car closer to home maybe.

Exactly !No wonder you ride everywhere...
It's a rather big problem with the schools on the main route (R44) and plenty of folks commuting through Stellenbosch (Paarl <-> S/West). I often ride past cars coming into Stellenbosch on the Paarl side and then they only pass me as I exit Stellenbosch on the S/West side. With the normal traffic it takes my wife almost an hour to get the kid to school and then get to work. Including a nice bit of harsh braking close to work where a truck dropped some gravel in the road and now their are two more cracks in the windscreen...
