Need a cheapie. Suggestions?

:whistle: me riding bad ? Must have been my double.... :D

Whenever possible I try to avoid coming from AF Louw in the afternoon, I cross Helshoogte at the police depot so I ride furthest away from those flats with all the tik koppe that keep trying to jump me and steal my bike. In the mornings I turn into AF Louw, but I always indicate.

With the normal traffic it takes my wife almost an hour to get the kid to school and then get to work. Including a nice bit of harsh braking close to work where a truck dropped some gravel in the road and now their are two more cracks in the windscreen...

:D Luckily long ago. If only I knew back then. Could've used it somewhere against you. I actually though on Friday you must have balls made of steel to cycle where you do, I sure as hell won't.

Are you in fact suggesting an hour to do about 15kms?
 
I am also currently looking for a small runaround to use instead of my Nissan Navara.. I am looking at the Honda Brio, VW Up and Suzuki Swift and Suzuki Alto. I want something cheap and small, a no fuss car.

The Brio is winning ATM.

No, 23km, 7.1km to school, 15.8 to work - and repeat again in the afternoon so close to 50 a day. This is why the Astra is racking up the miles. Only reason it's a bit heavy on the juice is the old school 4speed slushbox.

But the behind looks utter crap on the brio lol

Rather get the swift.
