Need an intuitive, cool, friendly, easy to use file manager

Like the title says. What really out of the ordinary, cool file managers are there out there?

Even if it's wizard based, or just really cool to use I'll take a look at it.

My desktop is a bit of a mess and my files are really a pain to sort these days, I use Vista btw. ;)

Thanks for any suggestions.

Check out Windows Commander, and Total Commander.

I said something cool, that's so old school man, isn't there something with a cool interface that's 3d or something? ;) :D :p
 
Check out Opus, its a better replacement for explorer, but what Kasyx said about Linux is right, it would be a better choice.

Install Kubuntu and use Compiz-Fusion. That is pretty and 3D, and you could use the awesomeness of Konqueror or Dolphin to manage your files.

I have noticed, but I know you don't know, that's why you're not being helpful, so have fun, it's cool, I like having fun too :p ;) :D Linux, sounds so, linux :p

Seconded. May not be "3D" with flashy graphics, but it's so totally functional.

This so called "new" improved "breadcrum" view of Vista is really making my life hard, I don't have many problems with the OS, but it's one thing I hate. I thought about just disabling it, but I'd rather get a different file manager than explorer.

Have you ever seen the Piclens add on for firefox? I'd love a wall, with my files and folders and easy movement to sort the files to their correct folders, maybe once I click on a file or folder, it gives me a little window to send the file to it's correct location.

To make it easier on me, and you guys suggesting, I need a file manager that's easy to use and doesn't have the stupid breadcrum functionality, I want a full directory listing and when I click on something it has to be selected. Am I asking for a lot today? ;) :D :p

Format and install XP.... Joke someone had to say it..
Seriously Total Commander is an excellent program. The piclens addon for firefox is cool but can be buggy at times..
