Need for Speed: Hot Persuit

It's Hot Pursuit i'm sure... Wasn't it an old game or is there gonna be a new version? Couldn't watch the video
 
New version... looks like it's going to be good, but then again, it's a trailer, all trailers make the games look good.

World is a PC only online game. It doesn't cover the market that a multiplatform game with singleplayer will.
And Criterion are probably more capable than EA Black Box...
 
is anyone getting this game? Anyone care to comment on how value for money it's going to be for S.Africans since a large part of it's going to be the online play? Do we have to connect to servers in europe or USA?

I believe the game is being released on the 19th of Nov.
 
Just Awesome, look at the police cars! I really can't wait for this, it has great car collection, I know EA will rock again with Hot Pursuit.

I play it when COD BO is giving problems. Not playing online though. Nice selection of cars, but not sure if you can upgrade them yet...
 
I must be totally honest, I have been waiting for this game for quite some time now and I found it rather boring and seemed like I was doing the same mission like 3 times. The police chases are poorly done, the cars turn like boats in Grand Theft Auto and it need more graphic options.

Sad but I agree especially on the cars handling. I did the Lamborghini Reventon Cop mission and couldn't believe how horrible the handling was on a million $ car. Not to mention the races are quite boring.
 
very very repetitive, for example... when you bust a racer, the clip that shows the bust is always the same, come on electronic arts! what has happened to you?
 
It's crap. Played a couple of races last night, got bored and played F1 instead. They could've just as well had 1 car in this game as they all handle exactly the same. No car modification, just the same thing over and over again. You don't brake to take a tight turn, not there is many tight turns, you brake and then powerslide around a turn. I think this is designed to appeal to 12 year old boys, that or I'm getting really old. Nice graphics though, but you can polish a turd...
 
i wanted this game but this feedback is not helping...might get it second hand then..
 
I'd just like to throw in my two cents here.

The PC Version is just a sad console port very limited graphics options with no Anti-Aliasing support whatsoever. Very disappointing, i just find it odd that the critics have been giving it such good reviews when the game is clearly lacking alot, no cockpit view which after the brilliant cockpits in Shift is really poor. No real steering wheel support, now i understand that it is suppose to be an arcade racer but its still a Racing Game and i should be able to tweak my steering wheel to suit my driving in game, not possible here.

I have only started playing but thus far i'm not impressed, i keep finding my self going back to F1 2010 for good racing, Honestly it doesn't even compare to Burnout Paradise.

roger that , i was just about ready to dust off my racing helmet and steering wheel after the shift season ;) but alas , i will not be buying this POS. Thanks for the info dude ! i dont feel like playing another nfs prostreet NO THNX , after 1 lap on the first race i uninstalled that crap game.
