Need For Speed The Run and Origin!!

Hi guys,

I bought Need For Speed: The Run Limited Edition a few days ago.

I know it uses Origin. Im on local usage so I use Origin Offline Mode.

Here is the specs of my laptop:

Intel Core i7 2630QM (2.0GHz - 2.9GHz)
6GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM (1 x 4GB and 1 x 2GB)
Nvidia GT 525M 1GB DDR3
500GB HDD 7200RPM
15.6" HD WLED SCREEN

I can't launch the game anymore, it opens up a window for NFS The Run and it stays there for a long time. What can I do, help!!

Your Graphics Card drivers are up to date?

Yes the drivers are up to date, and the game did lauch yesterday, Ive turned off all Windows Aero visual effects (using the classic theme + no effects) and the game lauched after applying these settings.

Have you got the latest directx etc?

You shouldn't need to turn off anything etc to play a game... Have you Googled your issues? Maybe someone else has the same symptoms, try the EA forums (The Run forums)

I didn't update my directx 10 version on my computer, I will try that now. And im on local usage so i have limited internet access.
