Need help on what package from mweb

A little competition is never unhealthy gents :) At the end of it all Andre you are the customer and I would urge you to choose the product that you feel most comfortable with and that suits your pocket and the level of service that you need.

If you're coming from a 3G base I agree with some of the suggestions here that you will probably find 384k too slow, particularly if you plan to do a lot of YouTube and other streaming. In this regard I think you will find that the freedom of uncapped will also ultimately suit you better as I've seen how quickly customers who think they're just doing 'a bit of YouTube' can eat through a capped product.

Our uncapped products are shaped to ensure that we limit the impact of P2P traffic on our network. This means that traffic besides P2P is given high priority so you can expect a great experience with your video streams, no matter how many torrents Stevie G is running at the time.

Having said this you will find that all but the most demanding of P2P users are quite happy with the amount they are able to download over the course of the month.

Thanks guys I've applied for a 384k line and it will be according to telkom ready on the 9th of march, because mweb was the first one I considered I'm going with them and after a month or two ill know if I will stay with them, thanks for the other isp that contacted me nothing wrong with a bit of competition, lol... The forum also helped a lot with my decision. Also I think 384 will be slow but I won't know untill I've tried. Thanks again guys
 
Ps as for torrents have never even tried it before so don't really know how it works maybe when I find out I will get a 4mb line, anyway any information regarding a good wireless router will be great, sorry for spelling mistakes if there is any eks eintlik afrikaans
 
Will, its good to know that you take note of us and we keeping you on your toes. uncapped is unfortunately a tad much for the average joe like me.
 
Always a pleasure Stevie and like I said every customer ultimately has to choose the product that's right for him, I'm not here to sell I'm here to help - and be kept on my toes apparently :D
