I am in the process of replacing my old alarm with a Paradox MG5050+ because I want remote access to my system and also get notifications on events.
Bought a IP180 and the MG5050+ board to replace this old thing:
I have 6 zones traced out and all.
My problem is when I hard wire the 6 zones from above onto Paradox MG5050+, the zones stay open. If I install this system back, it works as expected.
Have access to Babywire and a 307USB so can program when I need to, but right now I seem to have an issue with the zones not closing, doesn't matter what I do. If I connect a lone Passive with an EOL resistor, it works but when I connect the old alarm's wires, I get open Zones.
Does anyone have an idea what I can look for, cause I am honestly lost?
