My routers power adapter is broken the output is 5V and 2,5A where can i buy a new one? in and around johannesburg please help. It's a d-link router.
I have looked everywhere but I can not seem to find one.
Do you still have the original connector? If so, buy anything that gives out 5V, 2.5A max and solder on the original connector. Should be able to find something like that at electrical hobby stores, or some hardware stores like Brights
Well i did find a few with 5v but none that has 2,5A aswellDo you still have the original connector? If so, buy anything that gives out 5V, 2.5A max and solder on the original connector. Should be able to find something like that at electrical hobby stores, or some hardware stores like Brights
The D-link DUB-104 4port USB 2.0 hub comes with a 5v 2.5A power adaptor @ +/- R150. I've bought these in the past to replace the 5V 2.0A units that the DWL-2100WAPs have a habit of frying.
The USB hub is still usable for most devices without the power adaptor.

Are they a higher or lower rated amperage?
Much lower 500mA and 300mA
I have also seen the multi-switching ones at game etc before but they are quite expensive.
