So i can see this is wrong but i have no idea where to start with fixing the problem,
If i ping anything from my PC to any other IP i get about 14 hops depending, but when i ping my public IP from any network other than what I'm on at home i get about 70+ hops, and for some reason about 50 of them are the same 2 IP's which is 165.165.201.21 and 165.165.201.22, I'm asking as i am on fibre with openserve but my ping is usually around 30-40 ms and as soon as a download starts it spikes to 100+ , i have a 20/10mbps line and no shaping is involved, i use a mikrotik router to manage the data use in my house so it's not the line that's maxing out either as I've tested that too, I'm so lost
any ideas or thought on this would be greatly appreciated.
