3 Years ago I transferred a za.com domain to Digital Domainz on behalf of my client. My client has lots of branding with his domain, so a new domain was not an option. We did create a new .co.za domain however and pointed the za.com domain.
This worked well until Digital Digital domainz decided that they no longer do hosting or pointing of any sorts, but they do still register (not sure what the point will be then?)

Where can I transfer the za.com domain too, so that we can point it to the clients website without it costing an arm and a leg?

Thanks in advance

Sorry , you will have to get an coza domain and rsync your site to the new domain "if you use linux hosting"

dafuq?

Sounds like Digital Domainz just doesn't do DNS hosting anymore. All he has to do is add the za.com DNS entries to the same DNS servers they're using for hosting, and change the NS records on the registrar to point to the new DNS.

rsync? whaaaaaa? No amount of rsyncing will help his domain resolve and 301 to the new co.za site!

The .co.za website is hosted on Hetzner, they don't do za.com's
Have to find someone who can host the za.com, then point it to Hetzner.
The client spent a lot of money over the years on branding his vehicles, so he still has to have the za.com domain.

Last i heard was that is going to be discontinued , i googled now and found sites that offer the option. Rsync was to transfer all data not NS resolution to my knowledge

Hetzner will host it for you they just won't register to it, just call them and they will quickly tell you how to add it to your account and point it to your co.za domain.

You literally just have to add some settings to Hetzner's DNS server and that's it....

Hosting <> DNS <> Registrar
