Sadly, FUD works, and the ANC won this round. FNB really didn't do themselves any favours by backing down. Makes it impossible to defend when you've already admitted you did something wrong, even if it was unrelated to the new crap New Age has dug up.

The only question is whether the producer put words into the chilren's mouth. There is no problem in polishing up what they have to say and make it look professional.
 
Why has no body (non FNB / ANC / DA / corporate affiliation) copied this idea ? Lets call a spade a spade, and do genuine vids... I dont care what is said about which party, I would just like to see a widespread viewpoint on our government from people on the ground...

As for the New Age ... pffft... political bandstand is all it is.
 
True, not 100% proof... damaging none the less! New Age did sponsor them millions, so ethically the DA is compromised! If you ask me, it was a clever move on the part of the Gupta's!

And if the DA wanted to remain "squeaky clean" they should return the donation... why... cause there's a good chance it comes from gov coffers!

The Guptas most probably thought she would shut up if they donated money to the DA party.

They must have been perplexed that the DA didn't play nice, as it's so easy to bribe the anc members and prez.

No, Helen is way too clever for them.

The Guptas made a large donation to try and shut up the DA, it didn't work, so they didn't get any return on their big "investment".

Now that money is actually being put to good use, which must really annoy all the corrupt Guptas. :)

Yes I agree.

Rather use the money than give back to the corrupt.

If only I had the chance to earn once off, 0.001% of what Zuma & the Gupta's earn per year!

fnb is a bunch of synonym for baby cats. when were the laws of the country changed to say you cannot criticise your government? so what if it was scripted? the messages were still true. can you imagine if stephen colbert was in south africa? zuma would take him to court all the time.

also, i wouldn't trust anything the new age says. their "news" is more biased than all the propaganda the nazis were printing.
 
That update to the article confuses the hell out of me.

Was the advert scripted or not?! Mr Jordaan doesn't explicitly state that the advert was not scripted. Note: by "scripted" I don't mean "polished".
 
Scripted or not the message is clear. Unholy movement laid bare before the country. Totally brainless
