Neogo Data Package and Huawei (K3715) USB Modem

Hi All,

Please excuse my ignorance, but iI have been lately been looking at the cheapest mobile wireless data packages available out there and noticed that Neotel has two almost "too good to be true" offerings.
A 10gb data package fo only R99pm, or, a 15gb data package at R149pm, both available on a month to month contract.
This just seems to good to be true.
I have checked the coverage with them, and I am in an area which is well covered, so that should prove no problem at all, so am very keen to sign up for one of them.
However, I am currently on a Telkom/8ta month to month data contract (3gb+3gbmidnight=6gb) package for R119pm and I have my own USB modem, a Huawei K3715 model, which is not network locked to any network.
So I currently use my Huawei USB modem with a Telkom/8ta sim card in it, together with the mobile partner dashboard/software, to conect to the internet via Telkom/8ta's cellular network of course.
So my question is this?
Could i still continue using my existing HUAWEI K3715/Mobile Partner setup, with a Neotel sim card in it instead of my current Telkom/8ta one, to connect to their networks and hence the internet once signed up with a data package contract with them?
or
Would I additionally also need purchase one of their (Neotel) USB modems to connect to their network?

Not exactly sure how the whole Neotel data network thing works?
Does one also connect to their networks using one of their sim cards? or do their usb modems have built in chips (and hence no sim cards) with which they connect to the Neotel network?
(Forgive my ignorance, I am just a little confused as when I do a network search using my current Huawei USB modem and Mobile Partner, I pick up all the cellular networks (Telkom, Cell C. MTN, Vodacom) except for Neotel...)
So really got no idea how connecting to their networks work, but, as I already have an unlocked USB modem, i really do not see the need of additionally purchasing one of their usb modems on a month to month data package contract as well, if I could just as well easily use my existing Huawei K3715 USB modem?

Once again, aplologies for the ignorance, I am new to the whole Neotel thing, and any advice would be greatly appreciated before I go ahead and sign up for a data contract with them. and very possibly also purchase a second USB Modem that might not even be needed!!!

The K3715 is a HSPA modem while Neotel still uses CDMA. The technologies are as incompatible as they are from iBurst. I'm not sure if Neotel uses SIM cards for their mobile medems. Their old telephone modems were built-in and you couldn't reuse them on a new account.

I gave my old Neoflex modem, the silver and black one, with four antenna's to a buddy in the south, so he now has what you want. 15G's @ R149. As I still don't have any LTE coverage, i got the same, but with the new modem, it's from A-tel, has nice blue lights, and so far the service is no better or worse than before, but I like the following:
1) The blue LED's, - lights up my lounge in winter, so i can see where I'm going when i go downstairs! - no need to put on lights!
2) The power recycling works better. The modem seems to charge and discharge the battery by itself - previously you had to remove the power cord to drain/cycle the battery, which leads to it's eventual death.
3) The new modem has proper signal analysis tools, RSSI/Q etc. required if you want good performance

Dislikes: The WAN traffic counter does not work - just have to login to Neotel's portal to check usage every now and then.
