Neotel appoints new executives

Show of hands, who cares....?

Seriously....who cares, to date Neotel has been full of promises, and empty on results....-if it was not for the odd article on new appointments, we would forget about this non starter!

Yea, their fibre offerings are pretty good, as long as nothing goes wrong that is.
Their consumer offerings and service is up to maggots.

The fibre does look good, but the price can't compete for home use ADSL. I was under the impression that they would free the avg. home user from the Telkom devil, but they never did and it seems they gave up, focusing on businesses more now.
 
If you look at the all the dozens of companies that the the licence to do home fixed-line broadband, none have taken Telkom on.
It makes no business sense. First going after profitable segments of the market is the natural thing to do

True, the problem is critical mass in this country, you need boat loads of private subscribers at low profit margins or a few businesses as high profit margins. Without guvvament subsidies we will never get there, too few middle class broadband subscribers.
