Neotel doing ok this side

Very happy with my Neoflex. Getting 1.3Mbps down fairly reliable. I know that a 4Mbps ADSL line would be better but cost per GB is better than pretty much anyone else.

Dovado

I am happy with my Neotel Prime unlimited with Dovado router and getting excellent down link speeds and I got exellent coverage where I live

Hein,

Whats the Dovado puppy like? It's about R1500 in my estimation where did you get it from? How many connections you got networked? Soz for the questions but I haven't been able to get my hands on one :( to fiddle with it.

I got my Dovado UMR from increadible corruption for R800 a couple of months ago. It actually works perfectly :D

Going to do a speed test right now, gimmie a sec....

Last Result:
Download Speed: 1225 kbps (153.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 57 kbps (7.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

and

If neotel can keep this up for a week, then I will be very, very happy.

Yea got mine from Poynting for R1750. IC also get 'em for R1899 or something.

But i now have the Axxess Neotel router which basically do the same thing without having to plug in a modem.

The Dovado does have more features on the router itself though, like data monitoring and ability to email+sms you from the router about data usage [i.e. sms you every 1GB] . And of course , it supports almost all the big 3G/HSDPA USB modems , so i can easily switch to vodacom/mtn type connection without doing anything on my PC [no drivers / software on PC itself] .
