Neotel NeoConnect put to the test

Well, I dont know where Neotel are going to get customers from if this is their offering.

It will not attract anyone besides lobotomy outpatients. The whole internet / phonecall thing is a massive turn off. The latency is rubbish so there goes your gamer market (the guys who would buy more cap - the extra revenue).

So who is this package aimed at in terms of residential use when you can get so much more functionality with ADSL?
 
So I emailed NeoTel with my address and asked if my area has coverage, they responded with:

Thank you for your interest in Neotel.

There is currently no coverage in your area, however we are continoulsy rolling out and we will inform you when your area is covered. Your contact details have been saved on our database.

WTF!!!!!!! I live in centurion, close to the Highway, how can I not be covered? Why this this remind me so much of telkom, with the stupid little saying "Your exchange is not adsl ready" OMG :eek:
