Yes, we're still trolling...
We can't necessarily fix everyone's concerns here, but we need to identify issues properly in order to address them:
We use optical fibre backhaul on our basestations (no contention between basestation and core network), and keep track of peering and transit performance to keep ahead of demand, but let us know if you experience specific performance problems that you think are network- or device-related.
We can't necessarily fix everyone's concerns here, but we need to identify issues properly in order to address them:
- Consistently poor speeds in various locations: Likely to be a device (or computer/driver) problem. Call our contact centre to assist.
- Poor speeds in a specific location at all times: A local coverage problem cannot be discounted. There's no quick fix, but feedback will certainly help us improve matters (GPS co-ordinates / address + a few well-spaced speedtest results). Send a PM if you don't want to post publically.
- Poor speeds at some times: Obviously, most likely to be traffic-related. We monitor load on all sites, and use this information for future planning, but there will always be peaks and troughs.
- No throughput, but connection doesn't drop: This has been reported, and discussed in some other threads. We are actively investigating, and welcome inputs, but have not identified a network problem - could be drivers / operating system.
