Neotel punts SEACOM advantages

Great info neotel, nice hot air for a cold winter day, neoconnect prime prices steady... Neoflex Prices steady.... We're all set to go........ to hell....

Thats where neotel belongs, I am already enjoying cheaper ADSL from my ISP, but i can't see neotel lowering prices, how wonderful to have VSNL as a partner and some 47000000 pple to milk.
 
Im so sick and tired of seeing all these CRAP SEACOM articles. Please MyBB, stop reporting on this nonsense. The only article I want to read on SEACOM and all its so called price reductions in the future is when prices have dropped by at least 50%. :mad::sick:

I'm curious...If Neotel cannot convince the public that it's services actually work, then what use is access to international cables through them?

That said, please Neotel, I want to see telkom die...Can you do it?

Fire the incompetents...Then lower the prices....don't just talk about it.

Don't dare mention 20-30%...We want to hear uncapped starting at R300-R400.
 
Seacom is a myth. Neotel uses it to mumble random stront day in and out.

When can we start buying internet from the people who are linked up to seacom. I still hav'nt seen any products available to buy. they say the cable is done, so why is there no internet to buy?

And i thought neotel is supplying fixed adsl lines to our houses, when i can do that?. i'm not even sure if there are neotel cables in the ground, or are they just gonna have wireless?

Journalists? Which journalists?
High download speeds? What were they downloading? From where? What hardware? Connection types?

what the point of them access to whatever and they can't provided access to the end user cause lack of coverage!
 
if neotel's wireless products is already so heavy on their networks I wonder what a wire based network will do to it.....?????? Really defeats the whole point of wire if u still get 2KBps of download.
 
I doubt very much that NeoTel will bring anything to the consumer that will be mind blowing. They will stick to the president created by Telkom, and blessed by our beloved Gov, cap and shape users silly, make sure they pay through their teeth.

I am also sick and tired of hearing about "this is a good step", "this is good for competition" nonsense. Face facts, we are still being taken for a ride inspite of all the hype, spin and propoganda thrown at us on a daily basis. Dropping prices with one or two rand is not my idea of being competitive. I mean yippee bloody do, Telkom now gives 2 gig extra with their extremely over priced package and we suppose to be happy?

It is all just smoke and daggers to keep us just so, that we don't get too upset. Keep the population needy, and they'll stay loyal.

I use / need the fastest ADSL (not wireless) I can get with a high upload speed and at least a 100 gig capacity during a month, for a little server I run. How does NeoTel punting the advantages of SEACOM help me with this? How does SEACOM help me give a better service to my clients at a price that both I and my clients can afford? How has any of the drivel that has been spewed out over the past few months about NeoTel and SEACOM actually help me? How will it help me tomorrow, or the day after, or the month after, or even the year after? How does it help anyone else for that matter? The odd ISP undercutting another by a couple of rands is not competition. This is not helping SA establish itself in the fast developing world that is e-commerce. It is not enabling the SA businessman to reasonably easily startup any form of online service / facility / server.

We have had all kinds of people teeling us directly and indirectly that we are being taken for a ride, but still there are so many people who prefer to punt a 2 rand drop in price as a major breakthrough, worthy of a news article.

I personaly think we are selling out our beliefs slowly but surely, and the corporate money grabbing giants are winning the war once again.
 
Neotel might doing business, but as long as they can't provide a fixed line service, they might just as well be another cellular provider. The service they provide at this stage, is completely useless to me, and will continue to be until they can offer a xDSL service to me.

Articles like this one, is just publicity and does not serve any other real purpose.
