Neotel punts SEACOM advantages

Forget about LLU for the moment. Why don't we see Neotel ADSL products in the same way that we see IS ADSL products? What is stopping them?
 
Actually my friend runs a corporate ISP and he delivers uncapped ADSL to people like volkswagen etc. His own uncapped adsl that he has at his home costs him R86 a month to have (without line rental). Now...minus R86 for his 4meg line from the R1500 4meg uncapped u get...that comes with throttling....who here can say money making scheme...
Adsl caps are there for the big investors to make large amounts of money. Now that there is even CHEAPER international bandwith available...what is the obvious result? Well...prices will stay the same...profit margins will just get higher. Because, and this is a rule with any and every bussiness and corporation anywhere in the entire WORLD...they dont give a rats ass about you or me as long as they can get as much out of u as they possibly can. And lets face it...for the big players in the ISP game...they have a pretty sweet deal.
 
The Seacom dream cannot be realised via Neotel.
Their last mile connectivity via wireless is far too poor and erratic.
Ditto iBurst
Telkom's lousy copper infrastructure is also not able to deliver.
So HTF are we the strangulated consumers going to take advantage of the new backhaul?!?
Roll on Darkfibre Africa, our only hope for real Broadband.

Just remember: everywhere that Dark Fibre is rolling out cable so is Neotel and Telkom.
