Same here.

I want no contracts - no matter how good they look, there always is the "...we can update and adjust the wording on the contract without no notification whatsoever..." clause.

I want no contracts - no matter how good they look, there always is the "...we can update and adjust the wording on the contract without no notification whatsoever..." clause, should they add it to their contract as well.

Oops. :o

Forgot to add the part added in bold :o

on NeoConnect Prime: X months times R80 per month, on NeoConnect Lite: X months times R40 per month. In essense its a month to month basis ... only the device is in a 24 month contract which is understandable.

If it is the same device, how come its costs twice as much on a prime contract then?

The contract must be on more than just the device on the basis of that pricing alone, so it is a normal 24-month contract with the standard bend over and take it clauses. If it were not, they would offer the option to purchase the device and then have a month-by-month or prepaid service.

When they have that in place along with number portability, I may consider it, but as data access is my primary reason for having a fixed rather than mobile service, I may as well wait for the wimax offerings. As far as I can recall cdma is an analogue service and is being phased out in the USA, so for the sake of reliable data connection I will wait and see.
