I am in the morningside area (corner of North and Summit) right next to an eskom substation. I am looking at getting Screamer, but was wondering if your VOIP quality is good on the connection. If neoflex data is decent, then i might rather go with them.

Well, its not bad, but I expect much more. Going to a LAN now, hope its back up to 2meg speed when I get back ^_^
im still getting good speeds. Going on 2 weeks now with approx 1-2mbps speeds. Just did one now and got 2.3mbps. Im very impressed with neotel lately. seems theyre starting to make an impact on their network issues.

Im wondering if someone can help me.
I managed to get the Prime measuring program working, and these are the results I got. According to these, not only do I have an excellent connection to the tower, but there is virtually no interfearence at all.
Rx RSSI 1: 57
Rx RSSI 2: 94 (I have no idea what this is for)
Ec/Io: -1.2dB
Sync speed: 2.4Mb/s
Apparently, according to what people say on certain forums, this is typical of an excellent connection to the tower, however, I can't seem to get above 10kB/s. Could it be neotel shaping my speed or is there some other magical factor I can't think about.
Now, one of the other formites lives not 2kMs from my house, and he gets a stable 2.4Mb connection with constant down speeds of like 250kB/s, so you cant tell me its a backlog issue with the towers.

. Its connected to the tower at 2.4meg, signal is almost perfect and there is almost no interference. Me to the tower = no problem. Me through tower to interwebz = problem.
And why can Dark denim get decent speeds and I cant when he lives literally 1km from my house?
