Neotel to launch new packages

Wikipedia should have Neotel under its reference for "Useless"

A useless company with foolish and idiotic staff where the manager blames the cleaner and cleaner is employed as manager and both know nothing about product or company and care nothing about its customers. Its better if they are banned from operating in this country and everywhere else

Neotel suck. Only 70k users since 2008, and thats only because people almost hate Telkom more.

New crap on the way

As the above. If you are a consumer, stay away! Far away...

They remain Telkom's younger but even uglier sister!

What's CDMA? Wasn't it banned many years ago?

This press release reminds me of "Seinfeld", which the show itself described as 'essentially a series about nothing'. The big difference is that Seinfeld was able to make the show intentionally funny.

sorry neofail their coverage never really improved and they too expensive.

Neotel - a company that sucks more than Telkom, shows less innovation than MTN, a network thats slower than dial up for a home user, even Vodacom's red is better than their insipid orange, doesn't provide any products worth speaking about for small business or home users.....

Didn't Telkom try it out a few years back and found it to be a useless failure, and then opted for the 8ta gsm network instead?

Useless. They were supposed to launch consumer wimax already.

“We are growing at six times the industry growth rate,” said Joshi.
LOL!

Ha ha, Industry rate- the fixed line industry, Really? Well done- you beat Telkom's growth %, but aren't they going negative on fixed line subscribers.... (or have been over the last few years)

Just bring out a consumer wimax product already.

I'm tired of waiting.

@Neotel - If you are ready to launch your packages, do so. No need to wait until end January 2012.

Would be nice if we could see something in the next two weeks or so.

And based on their website they're still charging 8c / MB which is R80 / GB.

I think these guys have just about given up...at least in the consumer market sector
