Hi.

I live in Durban. I know there are stores in Sandton and CT to buy capsules and also an online store. When I try to buy from them (off topcoffee.co.za) (5 flavours , 8 sleeves) they tell me there is a minimum order of 5 sleeves per flavour?! That's nonsense. Where do Durbanites buy capsules from then?

Any help appreciated

There is a Nespresso boutique store in Windermere Rd that sells the capsules.
Can't remember the address.

Thanks for this! Would have never known if you didn't tell me!

You can get compatible pods at Checkers. Also from a well known brand.

Caffeluxe pods work in the nespresso machines and you can get them at checkers and pnp.

Yup, just bought a few packs of caffeluxe capsules from checkers yesterday. Pack of 10 = R40.

Bought the fake crap off the ebuck site last year. Never again. Its weak and gets stuck. Dont do it

i had 4 misfires out of 10 caffeluxe pods on a nespresso U machine. R40 for 6 cups of coffee vs R53 to R57 for 10 cups. my advice is stick to the original nespresso pods.

Cannot believe people drink that 'canned' **** at that price. Get a proper old fashioned espresso pot and grind your own beans if you can. My cappucino at home is better than most jhb restuarants.

^^this. I have a krupps bur grinder and a few espresso pots. Pop it on the gas stove and happiness will follow.
I have a big old saeco espresso machine too but it always gets ditched in favour of the espresso pot.

Or an Aeropress.

I always used a Moka pot before I got my Nespresso machine, but I love the Nespresso system and their coffee - haven't used the moka pot since.

I just didnt enjoy the aeropress. Tried various different grinds but it wasnt quite up to scratch.
I should give it a go again though, need a decent cup of coffee at work sometimes.
