I have had streaming problems on Afrihost (not Netflix).
Maybe there are international bandwidth issues ?

Been using afrihost all day trying to use up all my data before it expires. Hulu and Netflix are both steaming perfectly for me.

Ok something weird going on here...
My roku streams Netflix no problems but when I try on either my work or home laptop, it don't work.
I can login, select my user and browse content... But as soon as I click something it loads the background and I just get the red loading circle going around and around...
Even tried unintelligible silver light and installed again but that didn't help.
Weird. Any ideas?

Nope, but I think that there might be a bunch of paused items in Netflix on my Roku.
I've tried everything and I really am at a loss here

I tried two different laptops. One with Win7 and the other with Win8... so it rules out my initial Windows 8 being the problem suspicion
Login to Netflix on your pc and go to your account. Select logout all devices and then go and reboot all devices.
Not sure if OP resolved his error, I seem to be experiencing exactly the same
I installed windows 8 over the weekend and since then I have not been able to watch Netflix on my PC.
My Apple TV works just fine and ruled out the Internet connection.
I upgraded the browser and ensured all updates have been installed. I'm now on 8.1 using IE11 and tried Chrome
Not certain what could cause the error ... Please help
Ps I also signed out from all devices as mentioned earlier and still no luck

OP - What are you using for DNS Spoofing?
