Trying out Netflix at the moment. Using the basic account - 1 screen streaming.

Have it installed on ATV4 and iPhone. Downloaded a few shows to the iPhone, to give it a go.

This morning, downloaded Netflix onto the iPad. Logged in. Tried to download a movie. Was met with an orange exclamation mark, and the message saying something along the lines of: "You have downloads on too many devices. Try deleting downloads on another device, or adjust your account settings".

Opened up Netflix on the iPhone, and deleted all my downloads. Logged in and out of my account on both devices. Still met with the same error.

Anyone else have this? Suggestions?

So, to solve my own issue (I think), it appears I had the movie I wanted downloaded in the Netflix app on the ATV4.

Which must mean that it somehow happened automatically (possibly by adding it to my list?), or maybe there was something that gave me the option to download it when it became available? [This was for the Netflix sci-fi movie Spectral, that only released a few days ago - I added it to my list a few weeks back when the trailer was released).

Regardless, that seems to have been the issue, possibly. Which must mean that on the lowest tier, you can only download movies/shows to a limited number of devices to watch offline.

Thanks for sharing your info. Now I'd like to request a few more details:

1. I have an iPhone 5S (with iOS 10.x), and I'm planning to "air-cast" my Netflix downloaded movies, from the iPhone, to my large HD monitor, via an HDMI port-connected AllCast dongle. (The AllCast dongle is similar to Google's Chromecast dongle, but I don't have it in-hand yet: It's still awaiting delivery from the supplier.

2. I've already installed the AllCast software (to the iPhone, from the AppStore) and everything's ready to-go.

My question is: Have you already tried streaming videos from an iPhone (or Tablet), to any of the available O.T.A. devices, such as a HDMI-connected "casting" dongle? And, would you kindly share a few tips with me, in this regard. Lastly, I don't intend to buy an Apple TV to get the casting system running; It would be far wiser to transfer the entire job to my (spare) Android Smartphone.

Please send me any practical info and advice you have. It would be much appreciated. Also, in case there are other MBB members wanting to try out Video-casting, the info could be useful to everyone.

PS: I hear that G**gle decided not to make Chromecast dongles available (to ZA) after ICASA grilled them over RF-compliance issues. Once again, we see new evidence of ongoing decline towards 3rd-World status!
