I've been having this same Netflix issue with Xiaomi 4k stick for a while now. I switch the wifi off on the stick, wait a few seconds then switch it back on again then log in to Netflix and it works.

I only experience this with Netflix, all apps have no problem

Try going into the Netflix app settings on your Ematic & clearing the cache - then also checking for any system & app updates for it that may be pending - that could resolve your issue for you.
I tried clearing the cache and data. I also uninstalled all updates and the reinstalled them. Still no luck.

I also tried removing the ethernet cable and connecting via wifi and still no luck.

I also tried the reset Netflix option on the more details screen, but still no luck.

I'm also having this issue and it's only on the smart tv's at home. Netflix works fine on all the laptop and pc's at home. Also worth noting is that on the smart tv's, twitch also doesn't connect whereas DSTV streaming does still work

I got the same error. Setuped my cellphone’s hotspot, I could login. Turning it off, netflix crashed again.

Netflix Error NW-2-5

This error happens when a network issue stops your device from reaching Netflix.
To fix the problem:

Check your internet connection
Check if your network can play Netflix
Restart your home network
Restart your device
Improve your Wi-Fi signal
Restore your default connection settings

If the steps above didn't work, follow the steps for your device.

Also, this may have an impact on connectivity as well...

Tried all of this before and still having an issue

Hmm, a couple of weeks ago my Netflix on my LG TV was not working properly. After poking around, turns out an LG software update had somehow changed the TV's region. Once I set it back to ZA, everything worked again.

So, I would suggest you do a Reset to Factory/Defaults on the TV itself, and then see what happens.
