Netflix users would rather cancel their subscription than watch ads

I'll take ads on Netflix, if you can give me access to your entire catalogue...

I cannot stand ads - the only way they can allow ads for me is to make the service free - I wont pay for ads hence why id never use DSTV.

They need to have a netflix with ads that is free and one without that is not free... best of both.
 
Won't put up with ads. That's a deal breaker for me.

I flipped on to SABC last night because when I turned on the TV there were some boobs and... well anyway I just thought I would have a laugh and watch for a bit.

Its quite insane how much of the time is taken up with adverts, If I switched between channels the same adverts would be playing on all the channels at the same time.
I don't know how people can watch TV like that its quite insane.

Similar experience whenever I watch dstv at friends: Watching a new series and there's ads every 10 minutes. I can't enjoy something like that.
 
I pay for the service, now they want to throw ads at me? Then surely it becomes a free service as forcing us to view ads and pay a subscription seems insane.

I will cancel for sure or find some sort of netflix ad block
 
Was home for a weekend and forced back into the dark ages with DSTV.... Holy crap, the amount of wasted time on ads(57min GoT epi was nearly 1h20!!!!), and the sheer dreadfulness of every single one of them.

Honestly I could rant forever on adverts, mindless drivel for sheeple. Cannot stand them.

I don't watch broadcast TV or listen to commercial radio simply because of the adverts, no no no no no Netflix you can piss off.
 
Tried Hulu once with ads and it sucked.

Also get annoyed with the ads on youtube as well.

It's not only the wasted time, but yeah that's the big part of it. But, for me, also, they take me right out of what I'm watching. There could be a particular pivotal scene going on and then *BANG* we cut to some stupid ad, and just like that you're out of the moment. :mad: lol

You confused me for a bit here. I record GoT on PVR and when I watch it later in the day there are no ads at all. Are you not watching the Express version at 3/4 in the morning then?
