Netflix voucher

So my 1st months deduction went off my voucher. :D
Now I need to shop a Hulu Plus voucher for $20 a year.

My Hulu subs just came off my credit card (R73) * Mastercard-Standardbank

So it looks like you don't even need the voucher, although you can save quite a bit.

I'm hoping that the Netflix subs work as well... then I can just leave it.

Had Netflix like this on my nedbank cc few months back...

This is who I bought it from - I see at the moment he does not have any stock but he gets quite often, but at the same time he sells out quite quickly. You can see by his ratings and comments, alot of people have bought the voucher from him and are really pleased, myself included.

If this seller is based in Ireland how would he legally be getting USA Netflix vouchers? There are other individuals selling Microsoft product keys on Bidorbuy etc. at well below cost which also look very suspicious but have positive feedback. If something looks too good to be true it probably is ...

A bit more feedback on the Ireland vouchers... I've bought a voucher at the end of April from eBay Ireland (ÂŁ20) and it worked perfectly, until now. I've just received a mail from Netflix where they state that the voucher was disputed and thus cancelled. I can continue using Netflix by paying with a credit card.

I've contacted the seller to find out what the story is. As Yotch mentioned, if something looks too good to be true it probably is ...

Sad news, but I'm glad they don't completely close your account. I also bought one of those vouchers in April.

I've got a feeling that these are promotional vouchers (sign up for something and get a year of free NetFlix) that are being resold. Some may never be claimed while others won't last a month.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have been using my Netflix Voucher I bought 4 months ago without any problems. When I look in y account I can see that every month it takes off from my voucher and tells me as of today I still have 9 months left (only activated the voucher 3 months ago) - so so far was a great deal! Same thing with Hulu, been using my 12 month subscription for 3 months without any problems.

Something I did see tho was on ebay, alot of the "Deals" you see are for actual accounts that have already had the subscription added onto which in my opinion is very "fishy" and these seem to be the ones that get cancelled more often than not. If you want to buy subscriptions off ebay, make sure it is for an actual Netflix or Hulu voucher that you insert into your own profile and obviously try but from verified sellers ect.

Me too.
I havent had any issues with my 1 year Netflix and Hulu vouchers.

Even though the voucher numbers may allow you to access the service they may not have been legally bought from NF & H+. It seems that there are several eBay sellers who generate a few codes and then sell them off quickly before disappearing again. Most of the sellers have very similar advertisements (possibly same seller using a different account?) with poor grammar and no indication about being official NF or H+ resellers etc. It seems that Bing Rewards via a VPN might be a better way to purchase a Hulu Plus voucher rather than using these shady operators.

@WeelzSA: Your seller seems to have conveniently deregistered from eBay and will presumably reappear using a different name.

Yeah I have just seen this now. But to be honest as along as it is working I am happy. If Netflix send me a mail reporting problems, I will happily pay the until I can make another plan and if that does happen, will just lay a dispute with ebay / PayPal and get my money back.

I've had no reply after contacting the seller for a refund/new voucher, and I'm too late to lodge a dispute on eBay (they have something like 45 days after purchase, which I'm 3 days over). I'm now just paying the $8 per month directly to Netflix. You win some, you lose some!

Did you try PayPal?
They very good with refunds.

7 year bump...

Anyone found a source of Netflix Gift cards/vouchers.

Alot of SA sites sell them at face value but I am looking for one that's cheaper.

Cheaper than R99 a month for their basic plan? They have some new mobile plans that are pretty cheap.

Well I am on the R169 plan and was previously able to get the vouchers at 20% off but that avenue is closed.

I get that it's a minor saving to most but every bit helps
