I saw on another site that you could email them and they will send you your remaining balance.
It works perfectly!!! I was still on the free trial period but ended yesterday. logged into my account this morning, on the front page by billing it tells me I have a 12 month gift subscription. Clicked on billing details and there it tells me I have $87.89 remaining and that on 10/05/2013 will be my next billing period and my gift balance will be applied.
So all in all, it is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time
So he doesn't actually post it to you, but mails the code... did you have to ask him to do this or was it automatic.

Just be mindful, folks. Here's an excerpt of an email I woke up to on the 1st of this month:
I disputed the sale on eBay and had my money returned to me, so no harm done in the long run. However my subsequent digging around has left me with reservations over all these vouchers. I spent a bit of time digging 'round with the help of google, and I couldn't find a single legitimate source of Netflix gift subscriptions except for Netflix themselves. Best Buy, apparently, used to sell gift cards but they no longer do. I might just not have dug deeply enough, but my suspicion is that these vouchers are either generated by folks who have sussed the algorithm Netflix uses, or they are bought via Netflix through ill-gotten means.
I do hope I'm off base, but why would Netflix be distributing vouchers at a cost low enough that chaps like these can still sell them profitably when they already charge a comparative pittance as their normal fee?

Did they ever charge your "gift subscription" or was this before the next charge? in my account I can see they took money for this month off credit I got from the gift subscription. Where did you buy your from, have you got a link?

Wasn't charged, but everything initially checked out in Netflix's account details. I would assume that their monthly billing run either failed to reconcile the supplied code with monies received, or someone queried a charge. Given that there was no further action taken I would assume the former rather than the latter.
Here's the item - when bought it the seller had nothing but positive feedback; that's changed a bit in the last 2 weeks.
My reservations regarding possible sources of these vouchers stand.

Something I've only really taken note of in retrospect: the wording of both this ad and the one that is the subject of this thread are very clearly not that of a native English speaker...

Hmmm... That is very weird. The voucher I bought was accepted with no problems (touch wood) and my first month has been successfully charged and deducted from my "credit". Maybe you just had bad luck?

Yeah it is a pity tho. I am holding thumbs that I won't have the same problem. Hopefully won't seeing as I have already been billed this moth using the gift voucher I received and the payment was successful. had a look at the buyers ratings, and no one has complained about the voucher not working and he has sold alot.

Why is that a problem? USA is full of Latinos and foreigners. There are even Americans who don't speak perfect English, white, anglo-saxon Americans. And Ebay is a pretty international place, with people in Europe most likely NOT being English speakers.
I've only ever been scammed on ebay by several native English speakers and one Spanish person (from SPAIN). All "English" speakers with imperfect English have been legit so far. Your biases and prejudices are off base, and unscientific. Most of my buys (and I have over 200 have been from non-native English speakers and all of those, sans one Spanish person in Spain, have been legit.)

It has ****-all to do with biases and more to do with the fact that a chosen alias like "haiderirish256" is likely a calculated choice, and that the vast majority of people with legitimate access to US Netflix vouchers would be native English speakers.
Take your accusations of prejudice and shove them up your naught.

An alias is just that. It means nothing. I have Japanese in my alias. I buy stuff from people in Malaysia who have names of UK pop stars in their aliases. It means zip.
You do know that USA is full of immigrants right? You do know that many US citizens don't even speak English or very poorly?
You do know that there are many people there with permanent residence or on work / study visas and they sell on Ebay? It's also more likely that new comers who can't get work elsewhere or students will supplement their income on Ebay by selling stuff.

You seem prejudiced against non-native English speakers. A person's ability to speak proper Queen's English or employ grammar does not correlate with their honesty. Unless you have proof of this, you should acknowledge this and know you erred.

Just as poor use of language is often an early indicator in Nigerian 419 scams, so poor use of language is enough reason to more critically investigate items offered for sale on anonymous portals like eBay. 24.5 million is less than 8% of the US population, so chances are that there's reason to be cautious when you notice fundamentally poor language use in an ad promoting something which is legitimately only available on US soil - all the more so when that item isn't anything tangible, but amounts to an alphanumeric code sent to you via email.
In isolation it might not mean much, if anything at all, but combined with the other details I've mentioned it paints a picture warranting caution at the very least.
For your part you come across as a pompous, argumentative and self-righteous jackass, but hey, it's the internet... so who cares.

Nigerian411 scams are not the same thing as sales on Ebay. On Ebay one looks at how long the seller has been around for and how good his/her rating is. Language is pretty irrelevant, unless it's something obvious such as someone offering English tuition yet not being able to use proper grammar. And I've seen pretty bad listings myself from people with Anglo-Saxon names which are revealed when paying with PayPal. But I do find that more often than not, Ebay sellers are not your typical middle class, good grammar Americans.
24.5mil of those over the age of 5, self identify as poor English speakers which means you're likely to find poor English grammar on Ebay. (Note that self identify probably means this figure is lower than actual as people will likely not underestimate their skills). Then even native English speakers in the US often write English quite poorly. Check out the comments on a site like http://www.worldstarhiphop.com for one. Also 55mil speak other languages too and no doubt will make similar mistakes to this poster. Finally this seems like a product for an external non-US audience, and I've found many of these products are sold by foreign or non-natively born Americans. BuyFromPowerSeller for example, where many of us buy our iTunes vouchers is run by a Vietnamese gentleman.
What I come across to you, is irrelevant. It does not detract from you judging someone by the use of their grammar which is unwarranted. Generalising against people who are non native English speakers is far worse, than being pompous or self righteous, which you could be accused of being right now too. Most civilised and educated people would agree that one should not stereotype.
