Hi All,
So this is the scenario,
My folks back in S.A. have the Netgear DG834 router. They connected the Pots filter, PC and router all correctly but unfortunately they cannot seem to access the router menu using any of the URL's e.g. http://192.168.0.1 , http://www.routerlogin.com , http://www.routerlogin.net
Under windows 'Network Connections' they are getting the "Limited or no connectivity" for their connection.
I tried troubleshooting this with them over the phone but still no luck. Some of the things we checked were checking if DHCP was enabled on their pc, checking if the PC does not have a public IP address, Renewing the IP, making sure proxy settings were not enabled, tried resetting the router and a few more options as well. They do not have the driver disk for the router. Do you think that is the issue? I would assume that windows detection of the device should suffice?
Any suggestions to how I can get them connected? Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
