Hello all,
I got myself a Netgear DGN1000 but there has to be something wrong with it.
I'm 99% sure everything is configured correctly, what im converned about is under the "Basic Settings" where I throw my username and password in, under that are settings for Static IP, DNS, NAT/Firewall.
Now I tick the radial button for Detect IP Automatically, detect DNS automatically, and enable NAT (exactly how I had it set up on my older D-Link router). I hit "Apply" and it waits for a bit, refreshes and nothing is saved except my user name and password.
So my line is detecting, i can see the correct upstream\downstream values I can see connection time etc
But sync light stays red as it cant give me DNS\IP from ISP.
Any idea if i'm doing something wrong? Netgear require any specific setting?
