Netogy Nova Feedback

Is there NO picture on the TV set, irrespective of whether you plug the Nova into the soundbar's HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 port? - check if your TV set has been selected for the correct input that your soundbar is connected to - and if you power on the Nova, you should then get a picture & sound on the TV.

If not, then take your soundbar & Nova to the store where you bought it & see if they can connect it to one of the in-store TV sets & get it to work. If that also fails, then there may indeed be a problem with the soundbar.

well go and buy two more Nova's and the one that got borked plus those two more will still last as long as the Apple TV (if not longer) and three of the android units will cost around more-or-less the same as one of the Apple TV ...... so whats your complaint all about?

No thanks most alternative Stremio clients now appear on the Apple TV only.

My Android issues are supposedly all made up by chatGPT
Android TV updates don't matter when clearly they do as can be seen here

Sadly though it seems the Apple cult is the biggest of them all. They still even have some tech reviewers confused on the update front. It's like yes Apple updates their devices "regularly" but they need to, as a lot of core apps are tied to the actual OS, so are security updates.
Android itself lately not even a lot of features are released on new versions isn't as massive as it used to be. Cause the OEMs generally modify it anyway and the so called bloatware is actually improved over the "android" versions. Barebones Android is actually terrible.

I’ve always said the Apple TV is a great machine. I use mine as a daily driver.

Sure it lacks modern features like AV1 and doesn’t support interactive features and Apple have chosen to limit features in updates - but at the end of the day, it looks good.

My girls often say to me ‘daddy - didn’t they boy in the Internet tell you this was the best in the whole world? Then why do you keep having to swap devices? I thought we had that best’

It breaks my heart

It's weird that you have to keep swapping devices. Even more funny considering you only have two Apple devices.
