Network status page

Maybe this is one for Shaun to answer:

Got a very bad dip in speed tonight, so I had a look at the Network Status page. According to that, the Centurion tower was down, but I still got signal on my UTD. I know I don't pick up Midrand (tested it before Centurion went live, and didn't get any signal), so how accurate is the network status page?
