New 2011 MacBook Pro

not really incremental..

New Intel Sandy Bridge processors.. New ATI HD graphics for the 15" up.. THUNDERBOLT connecter.. better screen with HD Facetime Camera

No the screens stay the same. Still great. @Pooky, that 17" of yours really so big? It's actually the lightest, thinnest 17" in the world, with the longest battery life too!

Yeah it is. But I would still like a bit smaller one.

The Forum

I am new to the forum as a registered member. I wanted to post a classified ad and it says I can't.
How do I get permission for this?

Thanks much.

Why exactly, if I may ask? Just an inch or two too big to snuggle up with?

Because it is not portable enough for me. It is a mission to lug around anywhere, I think I would be much happier with a 15".

I'm very disappointed that the new MacBook Pro doesnt come with at least some models SSD standard. Any idea how much Digicape will charge to add a 128GB SSD? And whats the lead/order time?

Just buy a 120gb or 128gb Sandforce SSD and put it in yourself. Will take 5 minutes and you get to keep the old HDD.

Yeah, any one will work! I have a 40gb in mine. Bit small but my system is blazing fast.

Thanks for the info.
and FYI. The new Macbook Pro with SSD is sick fast.
I am selling a 15" quad core, but it has the standard 500gb drive. The new machine is awesome.
Apple does sell a stock version with the SSD in the latest Macbook Pro release, but like anything....with new tech the price is steep. Unless you really need it SSD is not worth the price. I would say that in the next 2 years SSD will be standard.
