New ADSL data packages launched

They need to make the afterhours the main over weekends (so that your weekend usage as "after hours")

edit: Your weekend usage must not count against your "daytime".

I'd sign up with Web Africa in a heartbeat if this was the case.

We were chatting in the office about WA etc about their packages. Only thing stopping me is this. Kids use the web for youtube (20 gig a month minimum) over weekends. Would be ideal if that would count towards afterhours time.. and not the daytime usage.

The night time data is extra data for free as off peak data costs the network much less than peak time time data. So in other words the price would be the same even if they removed the off peak data.

I think it's awesome getting extra value for almost almost free. It's more than easy enough to schedule steam and other downloads for off peak times.

I don't take the after hours data in the cost which then inflates the overall price for me. So I don't see it as free or useful even. With WebAfrica I feel 'compelled' to use the after hours data or lose it :/

at first i wasn't to happy about the 12am - 6am.

but when i think about it on WA's 300+600, i can download a fair amount yet still use about the same data as i was using on uncapped purely on streaming and the like.

New capped ADSL data packages launched

Openweb has launched new capped, unshaped data packages offering a blend of anytime and after-hours data

IMHO ... the price includes both account performance and technical service - and lets be totally honest, OW has a bit of a mickey mouse technical service.
Not for me .....But wish them well anyway.
