I have recently applied for adsl on my line and have received the dreaded, "We don't have any ports available" story. I am just wondering how many other people in the Table view area (number: 021 556 xxxx) are also struggling with this. I am the third person just out of the people that work in our office that have received the same story. I can't imagine how many other unhappy people there are as its a big suburb and the other strange thing is I live right next door to our office which has had 2 adsl lines installed recently!!??
C'mon Telkom, I am willing to pay the ludicrous R413 a month for your ADSL if you could just provide it!
The one good thing is that I have great 3G reception here, but I'm not the kind of broadband user that can get by with 2GB of bandwidth a month - and anything over that just becomes ridiculously expensive.
Just wish this country had more options. Maybe I should move to Denmark where its my right to have at least a 1MB internet connection!
