New anti Telkom website

i would rather change the name of the website to ****allthepeoplesuportingtellkom as they are the reason for telkom still being with us. just think about it before you order adsl line

LOL @ "If someone from Telkom want to say sorry and kiss my ass then you can email me too. Until then: **** you." :D

I got a call from Telkom guy. He forwarded me an email about my site that he got which has been forwarded around Telkom and it shows all the email addys of top management including the esteemed Mr September./ They have all gotten the message.

Hmm... unfortunately in this country we HAVE to support Telkom. In case you missed it (or don't live in this country) - WE HAVE NO CHOICE.

When Neotel finally pulls finger and gets some worthwhile services going for the average joe, you'll find people flocking to them like flies leaving the dried up cow pat to a new heap of fresh dung.

I think I will email Mr September and ask him why I need to pay to rent a landline (voice) AND pay rental to rent an ADSL line when they are the some wire and I NEVER use my landline!?!?! I will ask him if cant give me a special deal or even consider something for teh market. I for one will be leaving telkom when I get ADSL from someone else without the neeed to rent TWO (one) lines from the service provider.

Imminently Mad

Well they say that Telkom Sucks
Because they have taken all your bucks
If you cross them will they sue you?
will they find you, will they do you?

They can give you five million reasons why
you will worry and you could die

I have made some changes to the site, mainly by turning it into a blog. I would really appreciate some feedback. Im hoping the content is interesting and/or usefull.

I have also been told that it is being closely monitored by both Telkom management and employees........

Hey man. I am with you on this. My voice portion of the line has been broken for the past couple of months and I didn't notice until recently! Haven't bothered to get them to "fix" it in case they break my DSL. Why should I pay over R100 a month for something I don't use??

I had an "interesting" experience with Telkodemonopolies yesterday: I received an SMS to say that the problem with my pre-paid line since early January had finally been resolved - so I checked and the line was still as dead as before, anyways I called 10212, only to find that the techie had closed off my fault report reference number, and I was informed by 10212 that it is "impossible" to re-open a closed fault reference thing, so I insisted on a new one, which I got, and I kicked up a fuss about now being bumped to the back of the queue again. About 10 minutes later, the phone started ringing for the first time in months - it was a techie - allegedly some problem at the exchange that had just been fixed.

Pretty much our eternal gripe with Telkom as well. Techies will randomly close off tickets without asking, checking or even fixing the fault.

Still, at least it's working - if you're very, very quiet they won't kill it again :D

I'm with you on that one ic. I sense I'll be porting to NeeTel even if they're the same price as Hellskommel. The number of problems we've had has driven me slowly mad :D

In fact, I sense a mass swap to NeeTel just on simple principle. I wonder if we can count on Michael.Fletcher? :D
