Agreed and tbh I don't think it will be that much better or cheaper than offerings already out, but for me it don't have to be. I'm happy with my Telkom account. I have received good service about 90% of the time and had no troubles with my line at all.
So if the price is in the ball park and don't have the ban hammer threat if you use more that ...GB's I will in all probability stay with them.
I must say I like the sound of this Axxess account thou. Well done Axxess. If, Telkom does measure up, I think I would like to go for this service if reports are good regarding the service.
thank you axxessyou that what they say but i have cancelled twice before and u need to at least a week before the time advise them not to renew, maybe do direct deposits to them then there is no debit order

Likewise - but if Telkom don't come to the party within 2 months I will move due to a equally good experience with Axxess prepaid.

They can be used for downloading, just not for 24/7 automated downloads.

And your point is?? I mean they are after all resellers of the IS products. What did you expect??
Wasn't complaining Tango, but is this really big news? I suppose it will be much easier to move to the new product with them than have to cancel and move to a new ISP. Ok I take back my stupid oneliner. This is great for Axxess customers as they don't have to schlep to a new ISP.
What about this line?
#8 Uncapped Traffic allows for "always on" internet access. Your ADSL account will not be terminated regardless of your usage (within the limits set out in the AUP)
Their AUP mentions no data usage, just that you cannot use it for spam, hacking etc.

How will rapidshare work on these accounts? Will you get full speed? Using a port that is not shaped.......of het ek die kat ani gat beet?

I would think they will apply the same AUP as the other ISP's with similiar accounts. I would think the HEAVY users stay clear of these accounts. That's my 2c worth...
yup, still sucks that all this hype and the long wait for undersea this and Bulshyte that, and it had zero impact on my internet, only way to save will be to change down to a lesser product, i would of least expected the uncapped express acounts to come down a by 2-300 rand, i hope they make loads of cash outta these new ones and we can see some progression in the unshaped uncapped department?
