New car for under R250K

Would someone be able to explain the different engine sizes to me?

Does a bigger engine just mean it has a higher top speed and faster acceleration?

Would a smaller engine deteriorate faster than a bigger one, especially doing long trips?

Have you just never had much experience with cars, or do you really mean to imply that a Mazda 2 is sporty?

A vtec Jazz will run rings around any Mazda 2 you care to rock up with on any race track you care to choose. And in case that wasn't clear, I do mean in terms of handling and performance.
 
I am also open to demo cars. As long as it comes with a service and maintenance plan.

One of the main reasons I am wanting a new car is so that there is less chance of something going wrong/breaking and being covered if that does happen.

We're not talking about sports cars here, I'm referring to how the car feels to drive - the 2 has a sportier feeling ride. It has a firmer suspension, more direct steering and a better gear box than the Jazz.

I don't feel high and mighty. I feel entertained. Like I would if I'd been to a John Vlismas performance.

Unfortunately I just checked some cars on cars.co.za yoooh cars are expensive, Mazda 2 R239 000. I think you should settle for something small like top of the range Kia Picanto or Hyundai Grand i10 or Suzuki Swift.

Hahahahaha Suzuki Baleno ugly don't know about that, but we see things differently.

Don't know if it's a good idea to recommend Renault Clio demo model, I know someone he is having problems with his 2015 Renault Clio. The are issues with the card what what it needs R4000 to be replaced.

I think the Renualt Clio is a good option, it has a really good warranty
