"New" car suggestions - "SUV"

Just note if you're from Durban anything can be a "van".

I made a dedicated thread on this very point.

I think if you can handle lack of vooma then the GV is a no brainer. It has everything and the interior feels lush, not that plastic feel at all. Good luck.

The GV and the UC are the same car right? Indian made by suzuki, not actually toyota at all?

why does the UC build quality feel so much better than the GV or is it just in my head?

The 1980's called and wants their opinion of renaults back.
my old man's Megane and current Duster were certainly not from the 80's

take a wild guess why I had to take them to the airport early morning a couple of years ago? ... yup, Duster couldn't start, upon diagnosis it turns out it was the electronics

EDIT: "anecdotal" sure, but first hand experience of Renault electronics failing of cars owned in my direct family:
- Renault 16 TS from the 70's
- Renault 9 from the 80's
- Renault Megane, multiple models from the 2000's
- Renault Duster from the late 2010's

I find it interesting that your family kept going back to Renault. What happened to once beaten twice shy!

Answer has always been a used x3 2.0D.

Urban cruiser is so underpowered it goes backward when you but your foot down! 4-speed auto in 2023 should be illegal!

I could be wrong. UC is same as Vitara brezza. Vitara and Grand Vitara are different vehicles

EDIT: did some googling
Toyota Vitz = Suzuki Celerio
Toyota Starlet = Suzuki Baleno
Toyota Rumion = Suzuki Ertiga
Toyota Urban Cruiser = Suzuki Vitara Brezza
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder = Suzuki Grand Vitara
