New Contracts

Good Evening,
After a struggle and too late to catch a shop open around me, while phoning isn't helping at all because the consultants don't understand my question, I hoped to get my answer here, so here I go.
I'm planning on getting myself the Telkom Mobile Huawei Router and 50GB of Data package for R1199 p/m, now my question is when I apply tomorrow at a Telkom Store at Kolonade and I get approved, does the R1199 get deducted directly or after 48 Hours from my bank account? Reason for asking, when I got my Vodacom Contract a debit order for the first month went off the following day, is Telkom similar or will the first payment go off on the specified day on the contract? Don't want to drive all the way to the mall since I live quite far from Kolonade Mall and when I get there they need a deposit or full payment.
Hope my question is clear, in correct format and that someone would help me on this matter.

In my case, they only put through the debit order at the end of the next month and charged me pro-rata for the existing month plus the next month at that stage, so basically for a month and a half, plus the R200 once off connection charge

When you sign up for a contract with us we start to debit at the end of the next calendar month. That first debit will include a pro-rata charge for the subscription(if the activation is in the middle of the month) + full charge of the device( if your contract includes a device) for the first month + full charge for the subscription of that calender month ending + out of free minutes,data & SMS usage of those 2 months.
