New DSTV HD Decoder

Guys, can someone just please explain something to me quick:

How much does it cost, in subs, to have the following:

HD
PVR
Extraview

Do you pay R60 for all of them together, R60 for each, or R60 for HD+PVR and then another R60 for extraview?

R60 for one of them or R60 for all of them. Bottom line - you can have 1, 2, or all 3 for a maximum\minimum of R60pm
 
Its R65 now but correct you should be charged it once. Sometimes their billing gets it wrong & charges it twice, so keep an eye on your account
 
i'm still confused bout the 2 inputs...

If the 'current' decoder has 4:
1. Viewing
2. Recording
3. Recording
4. Interactive (News24, Weather24 etc)

then the 'new' one will only have:
1. View
2. Record

SO NO INTERACTIVE??

Corrected, not sure yet which tuners other services will use on the new ones. Interactive would fall under tuner 1, just like standard decoders
 
Well i was actually going to get a pvr decoder this weekend, but i have no need to record two channels at once. if the price can be like R1000 cheaper i would get it then. Any news to that USB plug? Any chance that it will be able to play divx or whatever from USB stick, otherwise i would need to go get a seperate USB decoder like that as well

you know i thpught the same, but trust me having the ability to record 2 does come in handy everyday.
as for the usb, its been on every pvr decoder SD and both Hd's and its been disabled . monochoice keep claiming its for future use god know when or what they mean
if you want divx just buy a dvd player almost all of them come with it nowadays, or if you have an xbox360 or ps3 they can do that as well.

I did triple check and she said confirmed that it is indeed that price...

I think she must have mistaken it for the 'new deal' as advertised by Multichoice...R649 incl Vat - SD Decoder Fully Installed.

shes probaly qouting the new price of the normal single view decoder with instaltion.
flip if thats the price of the HD ill buy it

Definitely wrong but ask her to give you a written quote valid for 14 days
