New Expansion

I for one enjoy the new content that is added. Yes it would be nice if all 9 million people have full T3 gear and we still only raided Naxramas, but how many of that 9 million would still be here? Lets face facts without the rep grind added to silithus more solo players would have left, and did you really wanted to run Scholomance and UBRS for another year?

TBC brought a lot of new life into the game, and many people that left came back. The solo part of the game was greatly improved, and instances were refreshingly new in tactics (same old mobs though :p ). 10 man raids replaced the old 20 man raid content for smaller groups and only issue I had with that was the 7 day reset timer!
Rep grind in TBC takes a tenth of the time it took pre TBC but there is a gazilion factions now, each faction have unique rewards though and you can choose which to do.

The jump to the next expansion may be fast, or rather too fast, but I for one am looking forward to it.

The comment on free epics is valid, but the amount of different gear available is just amazing, there is so many similar gear with just 1-3 stat differences that the tag "epic" is not that "epic" anymore.

On that topic

I went with Scryers, I hope it was a good choice, I never did any research before hand and would hate to Rep grind if I took the wrong one

If you sword spec you gonna kick yourself because Aldor has an awesome Epic sword at Exalted.

Blizz is laughing at all of us, they spent a fraction of the time on TBC than they did on the origional. look how cheep they were with weapon designs!, everything looks the same with different names!?, and they spent 2 years developing it. now u getting excited over an expansion they gonna complete in a year!,hahah, Blizz is money hungry and their quality is dropping in my eyes. i will try WOTLK but if its anything like TBC its gonna be crap.

Seriously can you honestly say that and not spontaneously combust or be struck by lightning?

The basic greens you get when you first enter Outland are already different looking.
Pretty much most of the stuff you'll see dropping in instances from Hellfire Ramps onward looks different.
Blizz added a ton of new weapon designs, some of which are damn awesome.
I'm sure you've seen the Polearm from Ramps.

Beast tamers shoulders = Gronn stalkers shoulders = S3 arena shoulders
Ranger Generals Chest = T5 = S2
mantle of the tireless tracker = T5 = S2

Those are a few of the hunter items that have been "cheeply" desighned. Im sure its the same thing for all the classes.

All the Season Gear is recoloured Tier.
I actually like that because I'm not going to be cruising BT for Tier 6 anytime soon so it's nice to have another avenue of getting gear that looks similar.
Just like some of the old Azerothian gear re-appeared. Pally Tier 2, bits of Warlock Tier 1 etc. I quite enjoy having the option of getting that gear. (I'm currently wearing Lock Tier 1 helm lookalike. Shadow Priest with Horns FTW!)

Well i am currently in BT/MH and it sux that i dont get anything unique for all my trouble, and believe me its been alot of trouble getting here!, like they say one mans loss is another mans gain.

There is your problem right there diesel, you should not be looking at what you get from doing MT/BT. Running those instances with a good guild must be a lot of fun. I know I enjoy running SSC/TK with my guild immensely. Killing Vashj was probably the best experience I have had in WoW. If you are only playing this game to get gear, you are playing for the wrong reason. Getting upgrades is only a means for progression.

BC was designed very well IMO. Raid encounters are a lot more technical, 25 mans made it easier for smaller guilds to get into raiding and stopped the administrative nightmare, the new areas are set out very nicely ito layout and are visually stunning, professions were given some major love, introduction of daily quests makes gold farming a lot easier. Rep grinds are horrible but through questing you get to honored very quickly.

My only gripe is that the Arena rewards are the exact same model as Tier 4/5. Re-colouring S3 was a step in the right direction. I like to see a guild's progression by seeing what their members are wearing.

6. unbalanced classes ( pallas and locks)
7. Obsoleet classes ( shamans and priests)

Please explain unbalanced. As for Shamans and Priests, they are absolutely not obsolete. Shadow and Holy Priests are an absolute must in any 25 man raid. Holy Priests with Circle of Healing makes life a ton easier in AoE intensive fights (eg Tidewalker/Solarian) and Shadow Priests buffs and DPS is awesome. The buffs that Shamans provides is also a must have (not to mention their decent DPS and excellent heals).

Check saw on amazon.com - expected date of release - 8/11/2008

Hehehe, I think you lvl 70s have forgotten what it means to bring up a baby toon :D

Roll a new one for just a bit of practice.

This has nothing to do with getting loots, the fact that annoys me is blizz took the easy way out, they making millions every month but they too dam lazy to create different sets.

Pre-Tbc was perfect with warlord set and Tiers, they were both imba sets and distinguished players. Now they just copies and you have hundreds of players all running around looking the same.....BORRRIINNGG!!!!!!!!

BLIZZZARDD IS CHEEEP!

And you just dont reach MH/BT by being a loot whore.

I just did that. 1-70 on a shiney new Priest (2.3 hit when i was 50) in 12 days 16 hours.

I quite enjoyed leveling my new Priest and I'm enjoying grinding for my gear and epic flying mount.

Nice, nice, I have almost hit lvl 70 (finally)! But I need another lvl 70 to compliment my main (dr00d) (maybe a leatherworking/skinning combo).

Agreed, but Blizz has commented that it takes immense amounts of time and resources to design and implement new sets. I would rather have Blizz adding new playable content than creating new sets.

Also, I have heard that when the revised Naxx hits, the tiered items that drop there will look like tier 3, just re-coloured.

Obviously not :)

Oh, OT, what guild are you in diesel?

I've considered doing the same but I think I'd rather invest that time on myr Priest getting ready for 2.4 and Wrath. I'll be grinding like a madman in 2.4 so I can help unlock the final 3 Sunwell bosses and so I can get enough Rep to go smack Kael in the face.

Rogues and Warriors luck out there. Tier 3 looked awesome for them.

Thats true as well :/ Decisions, decisions. Unless I uber-grind a twink to 70 and drop him off there. Then pimp my main for 2.4. Then again, I don't know how much time I have - maybe get my friend to help with a bit of power-leveling.
