New Firefox release

See how full of holes firefox is :p lol
Opera is better ;)

Saw that too.

I hope they fixed the bug that made FF sometimes crash when accessing the tuks uni interface.

3.0.1 -> 3.0.2 is a 2mb update btw.

I checked my update history and apparently I have 3.0.2 installed - the date says 1970 tho lol.
Dunno that I remember saying 'yes please'...

Same here, I don't really care about the browser battles, what works for me is Firefox, many sites don't work properly with other browsers, FireFox is just generally the best and I like it... will keep using it.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

here.

So since there has been an update to the article presenting more issues with 3.0.2.
Is it worthwhile downloading it at this time?

TBH, I liked FF2 more. FF3 is not at all as good as the hype was.

Kind of have to agree. I haven't seen any real benefit to it myself except for the fact that when you type in the 1st or 2nd letter of a site it remembers or brings up the site name you most actively visit.

For some reason FF3 has now also decided to forget my login details for Facebook.

Hopefully this will fix the frequent crashes in FF3 - very annoying, especially when you have 30 tabs open! (Although, still better than IE, as FF remembers your open tabs and restores them after a crash.)

you sound like a mac user :p

Haha naa pc

I hate all these "browsers to choose from" things. Theres not one browser that does everything lol
I like opera, it's clean and neat, and way fast but it doesn't display or render everything properly
Firefox displays everything fine and app things work instantly, but page loading is very slow compared to Opera, i found:rolleyes:
Then Chrome has the advantages of both its fast and java things are brilliant but it seems to use much more data than firefox and opera.
And no way am I going to use IE

One day hopefully a browser with everything in it will be invented

lol just my opinions :D

I have no probs with FF3 and the tuks website. If anything is wrong it's the asp rubbish the tuks web developers use, not FF.

No probs at home either, also 3.0.2
