Not much been mentioned about it here. I reckon its a lot better looking than the old one but still not my cup of tea, a lot more exciting that the Golf though.

I see its on the Ford website but no prices yet.
 
I'll probably be upgrading my Focus later this year. Will be looking at the Focus Si 2.0L Duratec. Most reviews of the 1.8 engine are not that favourable.
 
I also thought it was ugly based on these pics, but seeing it on a show where its not a still photo or a photo that has been photoshopped something crazy...i quite like it.
Going to be way to expensive though
 
I'm a big fan of the Focus, and have a 2.0L 2003 Model as a company car and love it! Must say though... Something isn't right with this new one! Dunno if it'll still grow on me, but i definitely prefer the look of the 2011 Models! The Focus RS 2011 is absolute BEAUTY!!!
 
Saw the team test review of it on Fifth Gear a few weeks ago. They really did not think that much of it, but I disagree - I love the new design and I think it will be a great success. Sure, its nowhere near as sexy as the new Astra but the aggressive styling is very appealing.
 
You'd say that, we all know what hatchback in the segment you have dreamy eyes for : The plump, conservative and boringly reliable hausfrau :p

This Focus is.... focused! Its sharp and looks aggressive - whats not to love about that?

Nah, I respect VWs products; anyone who has spent any amount of time working with them would. But I'm not a blind fanboy. If I had to buy a car tomorrow I'd in all likelihood not buy a VW... there are way too many cars that speak to me on so many different levels. I wouldn't mind a new GTI, or a Golf R, but I'd as easily buy an Isuzu DC, a Chev Lumina or an old BMW M Coupé - just as ugly, but the sweetest handling car I've ever driven - or any one of a myriad other cars.

I just think that ST is horrendously ugly. I know judging a car's styling is pretty damn subjective, but that orange turd just leaves me personally feeling a little nauseous.
 
It looks more like it should be a new Fiesta RS.

Don't get me wrong, I dig the current new fiesta shape, but the focus RS in that pic looks more like the fiesta than a new bigger focus should. :/
 
I can relate to that yes, in terms of RS models the old Focus RS is not only a nicer looking car but I am sure a lot of people will miss the 5cyl Volvo engine.

Touche mate! LOVE the way that motor feels! Power in all the right spots, and despite the talk of possible problems with Torque steer... It actually handles FKing well! Point and go kinda response and it just SITS!

And Voicy, i believe thats the ST in that other pic, not the RS...

That engine belongs to Audi if im not mistaken...
Pretty lame in Volvos/Ford hands...
