ya, good point, I mean 90% of people have closed cases... so does it make a difference if the cards are ugly?
Looks simple and practical to me, paint can easily change it. Just goes to show how petty some is based on looks of something that is hidden in a box. I am sure if I paint a tiger (in the tank) on it I will suddenly have many buying it. No matter the performance. LOL

It's an Nvidia stock card. Once companies like Asus, XFX etc. start getting their hands on it, they'll change the cooler and put all the useless pretty pictures on it.
Who cares about the looks anyway? When the cards in your pc the pictures are showing down. Even with a completely see-through case you'll still have to look from the bottem to see anything.

its really hard to properly see a card once its in anyways. And if you are looking at your card then you are going to get fragged!

Should be a nice card, 128SP and higher clocks will be great for Crysis etc, wondering about the price now though. Launch is still 3 December, worth the wait if the price isn't too bad. EDIT: $300 iirc?

It could be pink with purple dots and i wouldn't care if it performs well at a good price 
I hope they leak benchies earlier this time around so i can withstand the urge to buy a GT. Or if it performs badly buy one!(which i doubt)

Lol... well I read that the cards got about 23% more performance then the 8800gt! so it's a real monster...
I wonder if nvidia are a bit shy of calling there cards 9xxx's? I mean thats got browning points for ati writen ALL over it! Hell... Nvidia are in a bit of a pickle there, coz they can't go much higher... lol
