Loving the new Gmail app. We finally have an official Android app that can do all my mail accounts!

Exchange is also now supported so I don't have to use a separate app for that. Exchange requires the Exchange services to be installed, if you don't have this check this article: http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/1...-support-material-design-landed-apk-download/

Only thing that is missing is a unified inbox, not such a biggie right now as selecting the notification will take you to the correct account.

where do you get this new gmail app? on the play store I dont see it?
can I download the APK from someplace?

It should already be in the Play store, but if it isn't for some reason just follow the link from the article I posted above.

My Gmail looks the same as ever and hasn't had an update in the Play Store for a while.

With version 5, do any of you also see an introductory message that keeps one reappearing even though you've swiped it away many times?

What the hell. How can a Play Store update have a staggered roll out?

They are discriminating against OnePlus One!

My Play Store updated to Material Design as soon as it was available, so I don't get this staggered roll out crap with Google apps.

You can link directly to a post. A thread page link requires people to trawl through it. And my Gapps is the new Lollipop one.
