MyBroadband has been bought and paid for by advertisers. No way they'll report negatively on one of their advertisers.

This is a concern for me. Strange thing is that RPM and his staff writers are not commenting on this serious accusations. Has mybb become just a reporting tool for the industry.
Hope we get some answers.
 
Why all the negative comments on Openweb? Openweb is actually the only ISP that does not shape your account after hours and over weekends. Yea, their speed during daytime is crappy but if you want to download, Openweb is the way to go. I tried Afrihost and all the others but they shape after hours and over weekends which is unacceptable to me.

This is a strange allegation. Can you back this up with any facts?

I can easily prove the inverse, but lets see what you have first ;)

We have looked into it, but to date none of the accusation stuck. It is easy to accuse – not so easy to prove. Look at this thread as an example – MyBroadband has been accused, tried and found guilty of something which is simply not true.

I agree with the Administrator. It is a sweeping statement to make so you need to back it up with solid evidence. I have always found MyBroadband's articles neutral and they do not hesitate to be critical when the need arises, EVEN against people advertising on their website.

Which accusations haven't stuck, exactly? Openweb's been sharing user accounts for different tier products, nevermind sharing on the same tier - that's been proven and verified, yet not so much as a peep from MyBB's side? Several users have done some significant legwork on this and even IS is investigating the matter from their side, last I heard.
