I went to Hyundai, VW (2 of them), GM, Honda, BMW and Audi in the West Rand - all who said they'll get back to me on they Monday. Only Hyundai, BMW and Audi got back to me with anything.

You'd think somebody in sales would chase any lead they get, nevermind somebody actively interested in their product.

yep at the end of the day it all depends on who you deal with imo

What is average petrol consumption for the Accent 1.6 AT in light traffic? I get 8.5 - 9Lt/100km.

I had exactly the same car and averaged 6-7 L/100km depending on how hard I drove her. 9 Most definitely doesn't seem right as I never got close to that...
 
I used to average 6-7 L/100km.
I took the car for 60 000km service. And it shot up. I have to fuel up more. So it is not a faulty computer.
I have taken the car back and to other branches as well. All they do is reset or reload the computer system. Still get the same results.
The fuel filter was replaced with the service. But they reckon nothing is wrong with the filter.
I have complained with their customer care as well. No results.
My next move is to sell. They have no after sales. I bought the car for low fuel consumption.

You don't have an owner's manual? I saw on on the new cars there is a schedule of what needs to be done at different service intervals in the manual.
