New ISP Frogfoot

Hello.

As Cool Ideas are unwilling to assist regarding fixing my international speed I know need to look for alternatives.

I have been very patient, probably more patient then I should have been. Given them 8 months and they have now decided my line is fine and international speeds of only 10mbps is what is expected...

What do you guys reckon and if possible could you please post your international speedtest, would help me decide.

Frogfoot is also one of the bad ISPs, not as bad as Octofail, but still bad.

Alternative is accepting nothing can be done.
 
Sadly Atomic is restricted to cape town. So no option as I am pretoria based.

Not heard of Comtel before can you give some more info. Fup,ect?
 
Have a look at their site, Comtel.co.za.

Symetrical connection, no shaping, no issues. Did just over a TB one month, no drama. They will throw in a free voip line too.

Been with them a couple years, first on "Wireless Fibre" then real fibre. Very happy.

There was a Frogfoot issue at one stage, within 5 min of mailing them they phone me with an update and had it sorted. Very impressed.

At Vanilla we will be glad to assist, we have giogabit customers that are doing well... Frogfoot fibre only guarantee 10:1 but we have been getting more like 2:1 performance. We guarantee a full gigabit available on our international links... and we'll assist you all the way!

On the Frogfoot site you guys aren't listed as an option for Pretoria East. Are you available in that area?

Oh dear, so sorry we're looking for partners in Gauteng as we have no feet on the ground there :(
